Mad Tank is a energy production center where the architectural infrastructure incorporates an hydraulic energy generation core. Madrid´s Manzanares river is the fount of the hydro- process. The water is pump to the water tanks towers without any energetic input. The low tech of the Ram pump is incorporated in that process. The only condition is to have a fluent water channel and a small jump of high ( 4-5) m bellow. The river water falls 5m down into the Ram pump, with that first hit the Pump is able to push the water up 30 m higher  into the storage water tank. Whenever exist an energetic demand, the turbine located in the -5 level will open rotating with the force of the water column above, 3 atm of pressure. The inhabited energy center can host different types of programs due to it´s modular structure, being able to mutate depending in the programmatic issue. The energy produced will be used to supply the activities demand and the rest will be donated to the closer neighbours. The design is mean to be an energy donator device for Arganzuela neighbourhood. This initiative is planed to be extended with the same modular design into other European cities crossed by a more powerful river, so the energy production can increase.
